WE WANT TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCES!

Please help by completing this short survey - your feedback will improve the lives of people living with dementia on the Isle of Wight, and the people who care for them.
Did you know that the reason Parklands Dementia Resource Centre exists is because of the Isle of Wight Dementia Strategy and our community telling us what they need?
Just think what else we could accomplish!
Please take a few minutes to fill in this questionnaire - you can either do it online (click here) or there are paper copies available at all of our Alzheimer Cafés across the Island, at Parklands Dementia Resource Centre in Cowes, in local libraries, through Age UK IW, Carers IW and from County Hall in Newport.
The Isle of Wight Dementia Strategy has been in place since May 2022. There is an ongoing programme of work to improve the lives of people living with a dementia on the Isle of Wight and the people who care for them.
The Isle of Wight Council, Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS Trust, and our partners from the voluntary sector would like to hear from Isle of Wight residents to understand their experience of local dementia services. The information you share will be used to update the Isle of Wight Dementia Strategy and help us prioritise our ongoing work to improve the advice, services, care and support that is available for people living with dementia and their carers.
In addition to the questionnaire, there will be some in-person events across the Island to facilitate open discussions and gather direct feedback. These events will provide an opportunity for attendees to engage with our team, share their stories, and contribute to the future direction of our Dementia Strategy.
Event Details:
30 January, 1pm to 4pm, The Riverside Centre, Newport
5 February, 1pm until 4pm, Parklands Cafe, Cowes
11 February, 1pm until 4pm, West Wight Leisure Centre, Freshwater
Thank you for your ongoing support!
