ACE7’ers had a lovely morning on Tuesday at the Animal Sanctuary in Sandown as we wandered around the gardens and enclosures in lovely weather. The Lions were very sleepy, but did get up to have a look at us! We couldn’t believe how big they are – the size of a horse! The tigers were much more sociable and came over to say ‘hello’. The meerkats were lively, and the monkeys too. We saw the sloth, racoons, lemurs and some very noisy cockatoos! We finished our visit in the café with coffee and cake! As you can see from our photos, it was a perfect morning.
If you, or someone you know, has early onset dementia (aged 65 years and younger), please do get in touch. We would love you to join us on 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month @ our ACE7 café where we have one information and one activity session each month. Email: [email protected] Comments are closed.
