The Isle of Wight Community Club Indoor Bowls Section raised over £1000 for Alzheimer Café Isle of Wight!

The Isle of Wight Community Club Indoor Bowls Section recently held their annual charity fund raising event and the chosen charity this year was Alzheimer Café Isle of Wight and Parklands Dementia Resource Centre!
 
The spoon drive event was run over morning and afternoon sessions with 64 bowlers taking part along with supporters and spectators.
 
Thanks to the generosity of those in attendance and those unable to attend a total of £1025.00 was raised by donation, raffle and the sale of bowls items.
 
The Isle of Wight Community Club Indoor Bowls Section is based on Park Road, Cowes has great facilities including 4 bowling rinks. New members are very welcome so why not pop along and give it a try!
