Volunteering at Parklands will be a new challenge for everyone. The structure of the new project will offer unique and exciting opportunities for volunteering that we have never had before in our organisation.

Receptionist Volunteers
+ Guide visitors to their planned location, informing the person or organisation being visited accordingly
+ Monitor security, ensuring people sign-in the visitors’ book
+ Provide some administrative support for the programme manager as required
Wellbeing Co-ordinators
Paid Position - Full Time or Part Time
You will work with the programme manager to develop the daily programme of activity, liaise with in-house providers, contact and book daily speakers for the afternoon programme
Wellbeing Volunteers
+ You will prepare the space and resources for guests and support them to complete activities and remain engaged, being prepared to adapt the activity as required to support individuals appropriately
+ Meet and greet the guest speakers each day and ensure their requirements for resources are available in advance
Meet and Greet Volunteers
+ Meet our guests each day, ensure they have their badge and that their personal belongings are stored safely
+ Guide them to other activities that they may be booked in to during their visit
+ Ensure lunch orders are taken and notified to the Community Café effectively 
+ Remain present with their allocated individuals to maintain safety and security and ensure that no-one is or feels ‘lost’
+ Support guests to move to the Community Café for breaks and lunch, supporting and remaining present with them
Catering Co-ordinators
Paid Position - Full Time or Part Time
Meet and Greet Volunteers in the Café
+ You will chat to guests
+ Signpost them to our information desk
+ Help them understand where help and support comes from
Server Volunteers
+ Deliver the light refreshments including cakes, sandwiches, light snacks
+ Help with our Sunday Lunch Club
Catering Assistant Volunteers
+ You will help with preparing the food, washing up and clearing the kitchen after service and throughout the day
Estates Manager to Maintain the Building and Estate
Paid Position - Part Time
+ You will complete heath and safety risk assessments and maintain security
+ Manage parking
+ Maintain the buildings and estate, requesting support from trades in liaison with the programme manager, CEO, and treasurer as appropriate
Building Maintenance Volunteers
+ You will work with and support the Estates Manager
+ Provide general support with building maintenance
Garden Maintenance Volunteers
+ You will work with the Estates Manager and garden maintenance contractor
+ Help to maintain  and improve the gardens
+ Support our visitors to Alzheimer Café Daily Club to enjoy and help maintain the garden in liaison with Club Co-ordinators
Domestic 
Paid Position - Part Time (up to 4 hours p/w)
+ You will help Parklands sparkle by cleaning throughout the building
+ Ensure toilets and general areas are cleaned and hoovered daily and all waste bins emptied and disposed of appropriately
