 Alzheimer Cafe Isle of Wight CEO Maggie Bennett was invited to The Wheatsheaf in Newport to speak to the IW Round Table group about Alzheimer Cafes on the Island and our new Alzheimer Cafe Daily project @ Parklands in Cowes. Several of the group have personal experience of a friend or family member living with a dementia which prompted helpful and insightful discussion.
Maggie was surprised and delighted to accept a cheque for £1500 from the IW Round table members who were all very interested in Alzheimer Cafes and excited to hear about the progress of the @ Parklands project which will soon provide vital information and support to those living with a dementia in our community.
