We've been busy at Parklands!

We’ve made some fantastic progress at Parklands over the past 6 weeks. Thanks to a wonderful group of volunteers who have been working tirelessly to get Parklands ready for our grand opening, the place has really started to take shape. A lot of time has been taken up with clearing rooms, stripping wallpaper, and knocking down walls but we’re now at a really good point now to start the big makeover!

Seeing Parklands begin to change from an empty old building into a place we know will make such a huge difference to the community is incredibly exciting and although there’s still a long way to go, we can really see things beginning to take shape.
We’d like to thank our volunteers again for the time, effort, and dedication they are giving to this project. We couldn’t do it without you!

Some photos of our progress below - as you can see, rooms are cleared, we have some flooring down in the café area, we've made space for accessible toilets, our gym is ready to be stripped before we put the equipment in, and our wellbeing rooms are ready for a makeover!
