What Does an Alzheimer Café Cost to Run?

25/3/2024

Well...It's more than you might think!
Picture
Each café costs about £3000 per year to run which includes:

Refreshments
Room hire
Administration, printing, and office equipment
Insurance
Banners, marketing, and advertising
Sound and presentation equipment

We currently run 5 cafés per month across the Island, meaning we need to raise
£15,000 per year to keep our cafés going!

We rely entirely on the generosity of the public, the hard work of our volunteers, grants from charitable organisations and bequests from families who have seen and felt the warmth and value of our work.
